Selection Guide
We offer various custom options with the artwork we provide and this guide will help you make the right selection for you
Photo Paper Vs Canvas
We provide two types of printing paper/material Giclee photo paper and Giclee canvas. The photo paper has a smooth textured finish and is weighted which gives it that museum grade look, the canvas print has a greater textured finish and allows for flexible framing options. Both choices offer fantastic visual results with no glare, their differences are highlighted when it comes to the framing process.
Whereby if you are opting for a traditional wooden frame with a glass mount we recommend the photo paper as the smoother finish will better reflect light and provide a slightly brighter visual, in the scenario where you are wanting a frame without glass then canvas is the better option as its designed to be viewed without a barrier while protecting the print.
A traditional frame can nicely add and enhance the photo, while a stretched canvas look can impressively display the artwork without any visible frame.

Border vs No Border
We offer the two options of having a white border around the image or no border whereby the edge of the print is also the edge of the photo. We recommend selecting a white border as this can provide a nice contrast and really highlight the overall photo. In addition during the framing process if you change your mind on having a white border the professional framer should be able to trim this off. When selecting a white border the overall print will be slightly larger than your selected size given the white border is additional paper/canvas.
When selecting a canvas print we highly recommend a white border as this will help accommodate a floating frame or stretched canvas which are popular framing choices with canvas.
